What hours will the library be open?

Open Hours
- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday: 10 a.m.-9 p.m.
- Friday & Saturday: 10 a.m. -5 p.m.
- Sunday: 1-5 p.m.

Are you accepting donations?
The Friends of the Pleasanton Library are accepting donations by appointment only. Please visit their website to fill out the online form or for contact information.
Can I still use Sidewalk Service?
As we are focusing on providing the community with expanded library hours, Sidewalk Service has been suspended as of July 26, 2021. Patrons who are not able to come inside the library may request curbside assistance by calling us. Click here for information on Curbside assistance.
Is seating available inside the library?
The Pleasanton Library has returned to full building capacity and seating is available for patrons to use while reading, working, and studying.
Are face masks required?
Face coverings are currently recommended for all individuals who visit the library.
Are computers available?
Public computers are available—providing free access to the internet, office suite software tools, digital Library resources, printing, faxing, and scanning.
Can I use a study room or meeting room?
Study rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Meeting/community rooms will be unavailable until further notice due to roof renovations.
Will you be resuming storytime and other programming?
Yes, we have resumed some in-person programs. Registration may be required. Please see our events calendar for more information.
