- Libby/Overdrive limitations: Sign-in may be prevented during system downtime dates above. To keep access to your Libby/Overdrive account during our system downtime, please sign in ahead of the system downtime and do not sign out during the system downtime. Any ebooks and e-audiobooks checked out before June 20 will still be able to be read during this downtime if you follow the steps above. Ebooks and e-audiobooks cannot be checked out during the system downtime. It is also recommended that you suspend any Libby holds placed on ebooks or e-audiobooks to a date beyond July 20th to avoid missing out on their availability during system downtime. To suspend Libby holds, select "Your Shelf" (the bookstack at the bottom of the app), select "Manage Hold" beside the hold(s) you'd like to suspend, then suspend hold, drag the slider to the right for as many days as needed to exceed July 20, and then select the red "Update Hold" button at the bottom of the screen. After July 20, you can cancel these suspensions to reactivate your holds.
